Game 6 - Surprises Will Surely Occur

This is one of those moments - it all comes down to this game tonight. Deep in the series, the New York Yankees and the Philadelphia Phillies are set to play Game 6 tonight at 8pm EST on FOX. Fans for each team are clenching their jaws as they await the outcome of the sixth game. For Yankees fans, they simply hope they can open up that long awaited bubbly, for Philly fans they hope their team can power through yet another game, as the Yankees lead 3-2 in the series.

The matchup clearly comes via World Series matchup Andy Pettitte and Pedro Martinez. Yet no matter the outcome, the real surprise could be could be if Chase Utley gets passed Richardson’s prize and gets the second MVP award for a losing team. In Game 5 he got his team out of the dug out with two home runs to see the Phillies winning 8-6, while his series of five home run makes him tied with Reggie Jackson, a well known Yankee who got the most in a World Series. Though it is only speculation, Richardson’s son said to the New York Times: “He said, ‘Dad, they might lose, but Utley has the chance to be the most valuable player.’”
