Reunion for Dodgers

According to MLB.com, once upon a time Los Angeles Dodger pitcher Andy Pettitte could be talking again to manager Joe Torre. The two came together in 1996 and emerged with one of the best round of season and best pitchers around the town, leading Pettitte to turn over to the Yankees the next year. But as Pettitte is a free agent, the two are reportedly staying in touch and might actually add one more World Series together (they worked together for nine years and produced four World Series championships). Yankees Pettitte had 33 starts, 204 innings, 14-14 record and hopes to return with a 15th season at hand. And the Yankees are all ready for him to return as they’ve seen a lot of hard work in the right hander.

But as the opposite coast is looking at the man, along with a few other heavy hitters — so who knows what will happen. There are several other veteran right handers that the Dodgers have been talking to, including Jason Schmidt. But at this point the Dodgers seem unsettled about pretty much anything, from their shortship to their pitcher, so it doesn’t look good for Pettitte or for fans.
