For the second year in a row, a tiebreaker is going to decide the final postseason spot. The Minnesota Twins and Chicago White Sox prospective seasons will all come down to today’s game. This is it — one game; one will go home; one will go on to play in the post season. The White Sox won Detroit last night, even in all of Detroit’s efforts to stop their rivals from continuing on in the season (Detroit had no chance to continue), but the Chicago team beat them 8-2. The Twins anxiously awaited the final game score as a win would mean that they would play on Tuesday. The game is at the US Cellular Field tonight, so get your Chicago White Sox tickets now for what is bound to be an incredible evening!
Though both teams might lose sleep before tonight’s game, they both plan to come out hard to earn their spot in the post season lineup. Mlb.com asked White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen what he told his team before leaving the field Monday, and he responded with: “Get your rest. That’s all. And take the next game the way they approach every game.” Stay tuned to see what happens, or see the boys play yourself and pick up a pair of Chicago White Sox tickets now!
