We’re going to take a small break from the grind today, because it’s about the most official of the several Opening Days that you’re going to get this year. We know that the Boston Red Sox played in Japan last week, but for about half of the American and National League teams, today is the first day of regular season play.
I wish they had that feature that CBS had, where you could watch any game you wanted for free. That would really be something, now wouldn’t it? Such a devise would probably mean that you loyal World Series Blog readers would get another typical fantasy baseball preview along with the series. Well, we might just be toning down that series, as the games have begun, and you probably already have your picks for fantasy baseball. But rest assured, we’re going to cover some of the opening day winners here before too long.
A good place to go for Opening Day coverage is ESPN’s Baseball Tonight Clubhouse. They’ve got a nice little article that’s sure to hit on some Opening Day themes. Although they do not have live feeds from the local networks, it’s still a good place to get some of your sports fix.
