Sosa Making a Comeback Attempt

Sammy Sosa was one of the legendary sluggers in MLB in the 1990’s.  However, his reputation has suffered greatly in recent seasons as his name has come up in relation to the steroids issue, although nothing has ever been proven.  Sosa’s production also tailed off towards the end of his time with the Baltimore Orioles, but Sosa is attempting to get back to the major leagues for the first time since the 2005 season by signing a minor league contract with his original team, the Texas Rangers.

No one knows for sure how Sosa will do once he returns, but if he’s anywhere close to the player who has hit 588 home runs during his career, the Rangers got themselves a big-time bat and added punch to their lineup.  If you’d like to see how whether or not the Rangers can get to the World Series, make sure to keep an eye on them, and you always have the option of grabbing World Series tickets from StubHub.com.
